Every month on the 1st we will be doing a review of a cigar that has been on the market for at least 10 years. It gives us at The Barrel Burner a chance to look back at cigars that have been around for a long time instead of the cigar blog mentality of reviewing the newest cigars to hit the market.

La Gloria Cubana Los Gloriosos marks the return to where it all started for E.P. Carrillo. In the 1980s Ernesto Perez-Carrillo was the OG of boutique cigars with La Gloria Cubana coming out of the El Credito Factory in Little Havana, Miami, Florida. This outstanding cigar makes the brand relevant once again.
Old Forester Barrel Proof was announced in 2019 when the parent company Brown-Forman said they would be enhancing their retailer single barrel program. Old Forester’ discontinued their 90 proof single barrel and replaced it with barrel strength single barrel versions. It was announced back then that the barrel strength versions will range in proof between 130-135.
