In the 1970s & 1980s Michter’s Sour Mash was the type selling whiskey for the distillery before disappearing in 1989. In 2012 it would make its triumphant return to the market .

Bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV), Remus Repeal Reserve Series VIII features a medley of three rare bourbons aged between 10 and 17 years. A limited supply will be available at a minimum suggested retail price of $99.99 per 750mL bottle in September – just in time for National Bourbon Heritage Month.
